The CFP committee met earlier this week to prepare for the 2023 college football season.
“It is always good to get our group together before the season starts to review our procedures in detail,” committee chair and NC State Athletics Director Boo Corrigan said in a statement. “The work of the College Football Playoff selection committee is directed by solid processes and protocols, and the committee members are looking forward to the season as we enter the 10th year of the College Football Playoff.”
As for contenders to reach the College Football Playoff this season, Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, USC and Michigan are among the teams expected to be in the mix. Georgia is attempting to win its third straight national title after blowing out TCU in last year’s championship game.
