ESPN’s Heather Dinich revealed her current College Football Playoff bracket as it stands right now going into Week 6.

Dinich decided to shake up the apple cart this time around, putting together a surprising top four teams in college football. In fact, there’s no Big Ten team in her current playoff.

She explained why she came to her conclusions with a surprise No. 1 team and no representative from the Big Ten Conference.

Spoiler alert, Georgia was not the No. 1 team in the country, at least by the College Football Playoff metrics, according to Dinich. That was in stark contrast to colleague Paul Finebaum.

Heather Dinich reveals her College Football Playoff Top 4

1. Florida State
2. Texas
3. Georgia
4. Washington

“I’ve got Florida State number one, Texas number two, Georgia number three, because not even Kirby Smart knows how good this team is yet,” Dinich said on Get Up. “And at number four, I’ve got Washington because they’re the most complete team in the country and for everyone saying well wait a minute, where’s the Big Ten, I’ve got Ohio State on the bubble at number five because of that Notre Dame win.

Michigan right now, as good as they’ve been and JJ McCarthy is the best quarterback in the Big Ten. They are 113th right now in strength of schedule according to ESPN analytics.”

Current College Football Playoff odds

Georgia is still the favorite to win it all until this team loses a regular season game. But the margins are getting thinner at this point.

The Bulldogs edged out Auburn 27-20 and saw their favoritism shrink after the weekend. The next team in the odds is getting much closer to being the overall favorite.

Michigan blew out Nebraska 45-7 and clearly looked like one of the best teams in the country. The Wolverines remained undefeated after the weekend and improved to 2-0 in the conference.

The biggest matchups will be against Penn State and Ohio State of course, but for now, the Wolverines are the best in the Big Ten. Now, can they be the best in the country?

The odds surrounding Florida State, which is Dinich’s No. 1 team, are interesting (+950 to win the title).

Florida State also had the week off after winning an overtime game against Clemson the other week. But the Seminoles return to action to take on Virginia Tech this weekend.

This might not be a bad bet though since FSU is the top dog in the ACC. At this point, it seems like a crystal clear path to the playoff. That’s half of the battle.
