The final game of the college football season is here as top-ranked Michigan and No. 2 Washington go head-to-head on Monday night with the College Football Playoff championship on the line.

The next wave of college football superstars were in attendance in San Antonio, Texas the past week for the 2024 All-American Bowl. On3 was on hand and polled the college football recruits about their thoughts on the College Football Playoff Championship Game between the Huskies and the Wolverines, and for a prediction on the outcome.

Here is the collection of responses from the players:

5-star WR Ryan Wingo – Texas signee

Prediction: Michigan
“I think I’m gonna be 31-24, Michigan, but I’m not gonna lie, Washington and (Michael) Penix, he’s slinging it everywhere on the field right now.” – Ryan Wingo

4-star WR Gatlin Bair

Prediction: Michigan
“Michigan is gonna win, but it’ll be close. The thing about Michigan is they’ve met elite wide receivers before, and that’s Washington’s strength. They played Marvin Harrison Jr, they’ve matched with other teams’ elite receivers, and I think Michigan does a great job with that. Penix was barely pressured against Texas, and you saw what they did to (Jalen) Milroe. Michigan’s defense is the difference. I think Michigan will edge them out by 7.” — Gatlin Bair

4-star WR TJ Moore – Clemson signee

Prediction: Washington
“I’m going with Washington, because my boy Penix is from Tampa and he’s there. I like Washington.” — TJ Moore

4-star LB Payton Pierce – Ohio State signee

Prediction: Michigan
“I’m not supposed to go for Team Up North, but I think they’re going to get the win sadly, 35-28.” — Payton Pierce

4-star DL Nigel Smith – Oklahoma signee

Prediction: Washington
“Washington, for sure, is gonna win, 35-24.” — Nigel Smith

4-star RB Daniel Hill – Alabama signee

Prediction: Washington
“Washington 42, Michigan 31.” — Daniel Hill

4-star DL Justin Greene – Georgia signee

Prediction: Michigan
“I’m going with Michigan. Michigan’s DL ate up Alabama’s OL, and I don’t think Washington can handle that.” — Justin Greene

5-star LB Sammy Brown – Clemson signee

Prediction: Michigan
“28-17 Michigan.” – Sammy Brown

4-star IOL Cooper Cousins – Penn State signee

Prediction: Michigan
“They’re both Big Ten teams now, so I love the Big Ten ball. I love Penix and I think (J.J.) McCarthy plays well, too. Michigan is rolling too much right now, I got the Wolverines in this one.” — Cooper Cousins

4-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain – USC signee

Prediction: Washington
“I got Washington … I don’t really think Michigan’s defense gonna be able to keep up with the Washington offense.” Kameryn Fountain

4-star WR Ny Carr -Miami signee

Prediction: Washington
“Washington, 35-24.” — Ny Carr

5-star DL Justin Scott – Miami signee

Prediction: Washington
“Washington, 38-31” — Justin Scott

4-star TE Luke Reynolds – Penn State signee

Prediction: Michigan
“With Michigan, I think the way they’re playing football right now, they’re playing their best football in the Playoffs and at the end of the regular season. “Penix is having a great year, Washington is having a really explosive year, but I think the way Michigan plays their brand of football it’s gonna wear them down.” — Luke Reynolds

4-star S Peyton Woodyard – Alabama signee

Prediction: Michigan
“I think Michigan is gonna win, but I’m rooting for Washington for sure. I haven’t seen the Pac-12 win something in a minute.” — Peyton Woodyard

4-star WR Kylan Billiot – LSU signee

Prediction: Michigan
“They’re just different … they beat ‘Bama, so it shouldn’t be a discussion.” — Kylan Billiot

4-star CB Jo’Ziah Edmund – Michigan signee

Prediction: Michigan
“We’re gonna come out with the win. All of our guys are back home, putting in the work, putting the effort in practice every day, putting in hard work, blood, sweat and tears, and with that comes a natty win.” Jo’Ziah Edmund

4-star WR Dre’lon Miller – Colorado signee

Prediction: WashingtonWASH,
“I was offered by both, but I have a friend (Wesley Yates) that goes to Washington, so I have to go with Washington.” — Dre’lon Miller

3-star IOL Deryc Plazz – Miami signee

Prediction: Washington
“Washington, 42-28.” — Deryc Plazz
