There are a few games that could go a long way in determining CFP rankings moving forward. Others are low key ranked games, but should be fun ones as well.

No. 9 Ole Miss vs. No. 2 Georgia

Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Spread: Georgia (-10.5)
FPI Prediction: Georgia – 69.8%

This is the game of the weekend because Lane Kiffin and the Rebels could totally screw everyone’s predictions up with an upset. Georgia is a big favorite for a reason, since the Bulldogs are at home. But this could be a weird game.

No. 3 Michigan vs. No. 10 Penn State

Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET (FOX)
Spread: Michigan (-5)
FPI Prediction: Penn State – 50.9%

Michigan is the favorite in this one but Penn State is the slight pick to win this per the FPI metrics. This is about as close as it can get. This game will also eliminate Penn State from CFP contention with a loss or cause chaos in the Big Ten.

Miami vs. No. 4 Florida State

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC)
Spread: Florida State (-14)
FPI Prediction: Florida State – 85%

The Seminoles want to keep the undefeated season going here and are the big favorites to do so. Miami is 6-3, but not exactly the ACC dark horse like some thought. Although the Hurricanes could certainly throw a wrench in the ACC with an upset.

No. 18 Utah vs. No. 5 Washington

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET (FOX)
Spread: Washington (-9.5)
FPI Prediction: Washington – 69.1%

This is an interesting matchup. Can Washington avoid a let down after a shootout win over USC? Utah is as physical as it gets and could get the offense rolling against a shaky defense. This could be a sneaky close game.

No. 8 Alabama vs. Kentucky

FPI Prediction: Alabama – 85.8%

The Crimson Tide are hot right now and a big favorite on the road against Kentucky. The Wildcats had a 5-0 start to the year but are 1-3 since. They’ll need a huge performance to pull this one off.

No. 13 Tennessee vs. No 14 Missouri

Spread: Tennessee (-1)
FPI Prediction: Tennessee – 60.6%

This is about as close as it gets in the SEC. Tennessee is the favorite going into this one despite being on the road. Maybe Missouri peaked and then ran into a wall against Georgia. But this is a pick ‘em. Don’t rule out Eli Drinkwitz’s squad.
