Updated top 25 classes in the 2025 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings
The dog days of summer — and the college football recruiting calendar — are upon us. With only a few days left in July, more than 250 of the nation’s top 300 prospects in the On3 Industry Ranking are already pledged to a school.
Dozens of top prospects have given their verbal pledges, including multiple five-stars, in the past three weeks. We’ve also seen some key decommitments and flips as well. And as a result, the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings have seen significant shifts, including a new No. 1 overall team and shakeup in the top 10.
Below are the top 25 classes in the 2025 cycle:
1. Ohio State — 94.054

Top Commit: Houston North Shore Five-Star Plus+ CB Devin Sanchez, No. 4 NATL. (No. 1 CB).
Early in the 2025 cycle, defensive coordinator Knowles and his staff have gotten busy. Of OSU’s 23 commitments, 12 are on that side of the ball and five are in the secondary. Ohio State holds commitments from two of the nation’s top cornerback recruits — Five-Star Plus+ CBs Na’eem Offord and Devin Sanchez. Their class also includes elite linebacker Riley Pettijohn, four-star safety Faheem Delane, four-star EDGE Zahir Mathis, four-star EDGE London Merritt, four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford, four-star cornerback DeShawn Stewart, in-state standout linebacker Eli Lee and fast-rising Cleveland-area safety Cody Haddad.
On the offensive side, OSU has already locked up its quarterback in the class with elite passer Tavien St. Clair. He’s joined by the likes of Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe, four-star tight end Nate Roberts, four-star wide receiver Quincy Porter and four-star WR De’zie Jones.
Early in June, the Buckeyes struck again offensive side of the ball with four-star athlete Bo Jackson, who is expected to play running back at the next level, and elite wide receiver Quincy Porter.
2. Alabama — 93.985

Top Commit: Denton (Texas) Ryan five-star OT Ty Haywood, No. 11 NATL. (No. 2 OT).
Alabama’s class is led by Haywood and Choctaw County (Miss.) five-star wideout Caleb Cunningham, who joined the class in mid-July. Mission Viejo (Calif.) five-star cornerback Dijon Lee, who committed in late June, is also part of a recent hot streak for the Crimson Tide. Other recent pledges include Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley four-star EDGE Dawson Merritt, Mobile (Ala.) Vigor four-star interior offensive lineman Micah DeBose, elite Cincinnati Winton Woods EDGE Justin Hill and Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge four-star tight end Kaleb Edwards.
Eastman (Ga.) Dodge County elite athlete Darrell Johnson and Selma (Ala.) Southside four-star athlete Derick Smith committed just days apart in the month of March.
Alabama flipped standout five-star quarterback Keelon Russell away from SMU in early June, days before landing another top defender in four-star cornerback Chuck McDonald. Carmel (Calif.) four-star offensive tackle Jackson Lloyd and Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks East four-star IOL Michael Carroll also added their names to the commit list in June.
3. LSU — 93.210

Top Commit: Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ QB Bryce Underwood, No. 1 NATL. (No. 1 QB).
LSU’s class features a trio of five-stars (QB Bryce Underwood, RB Harlem Berry and CB DJ Pickett) as well as 13 four-star prospects. The Tigers added a pair of star prospects in June: four-star interior offensive lineman Carius Curne and four-star EDGE Jesse Harrold.
July is off to a fast start fo the Tigers, picking up Indianapolis Warren Central four-star EDGE Damien Shanklin, On3 four-star defensive back Jhase Thomas and four-star Zion Williams — in addition to flipping Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie four-star defensive lineman Brandon Brown away from Texas, beating Oregon for Pickett and landing elite wideout Derek Meadows.
Four-star linebackers Keylan Moses and Charles Ross help headline the defense alongside Harrold, while Tyler Miller and Devin Harper provide elite talent along the offensive line.
4. Georgia — 92.684
3 five-stars | 16 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Warner Robins (Ga.) five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson, No. 19 NATL. (No. 1 EDGE).
Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County five-star linebacker Zayden Walker joined the class as Georgia’s third five-star in early June. Not long after, Warner Robins (Ga.) five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson decommitted from USC and joined the fold in Athens. They sit alongside Folkston (Ga.) Camden five-star TE Elyiss Williams at the top of the class.
Recent additions to the class for Georgia include: Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett, four-star offensive lineman Mason Short — a one-time Alabama commit who reopened his recruitment when Nick Saban retired — four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery and four-star wide receiver/athlete Thomas Blackshear.
Geneva (Ill.) Community four-star receiver Talyn Taylor, the No. 48 overall prospect, joined the class in mid-June. Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale four-star cornerback Shamari Earls flipped from South Carolina to the ‘Dawgs on July 7.
5. Oregon — 92.256

The final weekend of June saw four big-time commitments for the Ducks, highlighted by a surprise pledge from Conroe (Texas) elite four-star cornerback Dorian Brew. He joined Tampa Bay Tech five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson at the top of the pack for Dan Lanning and Co. just a week before Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Dakorien Moore took over the top spot in the class.
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star running back Jordon Davison picked the Ducks over the likes of Ohio State, Michigan and Alabama. Lincoln four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr., Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt and Belleville (Ill.) Althoff Catholic four-star athlete Dierre Hill are all also in the top 175.
Other top commits for the Ducks include Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North four-star receiver Isaiah Mozee, Concord (Calif.) De La Salle four-star defensive lineman Matthew Johnson and Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep four-star receiver Cooper Perry. Tampa Sumner four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison pledged to the Ducks on June 10.
6. Clemson — 91.275

Top Commit: Durham (N.C.) Southern defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell, No. 39 NATL. (No. 4 EDGE).
Clemson’s 13-man class consists of nine blue-chip prospects, including a pair of top-50 recruits in Durham (N.C.) Southern defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell and Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford.
Seven additional four-star recruits are committed to the Tigers, including the likes of Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy running back Gideon Davidson, Tampa Wiregrass Ranch cornerback Graceson Littleton, Lake City (S.C.) South Florence defensive lineman Amare Adams, Buford (Ga.) offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs, Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic quarterback Blake Hebert and Greensboro (N.C.) four-star EDGE Bryce Davis.
7. Tennessee — 91.238

Top Commit: Nashville Brentwood Academy four-star QB George MacIntyre, No. 50 NATL. (No. 8 QB).
When looking at Tennessee’s 2025 class, all eyes point toward Nashville Brentwood four-star quarterback George MacIntyre. Four-star in-state IOL Nic Moore pledged on June 20 and was followed by On3 4-star DL Charles House on June 22 and elite IOL Douglas Utu on June 24. The Vols also got on the board in July with coveted four-star wideout Travis Smith, who chose Tennessee over Alabama and Georgia. Later in the month, the Vols have added four-stars Lagonza ‘Shady’ Hayward and DaSaahn Brame (a flip from Oregon) to move into the top 10.
They join Memphis Sheffield four-star wide receiver Radarious Jackson as one of the most important additions to the class and an On3 top-100 overall prospect.
On March 28, Nashville Ensworth four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley joined the fold, choosing the Vols over Michigan, Texas and others. Elkhart (Ind.) Central four-star EDGE commit Mariyon Dye is one of the highest-rated prospects in the class and an On3 top-40 recruit.
8. Florida State — 90.830

Top Commit: Jacksonville Raines five-star IOL Solomon Thomas, No. 13 NATL. (No. 1 IOL).
The 13 commits are split on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. The current headliner in the class is Jacksonville Raines five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas. Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County four-star IOL and onetime Florida commit Peyton Joseph joined Thomas in the trenches following his Fourth of July commitment. And the ‘Noles added another dynamic playmaker in late July with four-star wideout Malik Clark.
The end of June was good to the Noles, as a quartet of four-stars pledged between June 24-30. Milton (Ga.) elite wide receiver CJ Wiley highlights the recent additions. Port Charlotte (Fla.) four-star defensive lineman Myron Charles added his name to the group alongside Greensboro (Ga.) Greene County four-star DL Kevin Wynn and Omaha (Neb.) Millard South four-star tight end Chase Loftin.
Jacksonville Mandarin four-star quarterback pledge Tramell Jones has continued to see his stock rise. Cocoa four-star EDGE Javion Hilson is a former Alabama pledge who joined the fold in Tallahassee in January following the retirement of Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban.
9. Texas A&M — 91.102

Top Commit: Corona (Calif.) Centennial five-star QB Husan Longstreet, No. 25 NATL. (No. 4 QB).
Corona (Calif.) Centennial five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet committed on April 14 and is a centerpiece addition for Elko and Co. Longstreet headlines the four Golden State standouts in the A&M class.
Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie is one of three CBs in the class. La Verne (Calif.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail recently joined the class following a June 30 decision. With Mikhail’s commitment, A&M now has three of the top 10 players in California on its pledge list. The Aggies also added a pledge from Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley four-star EDGE Marco Jones in early July.
DeSoto (Texas) four-star running back Deondrae Riden provided an early recruiting boost with his commitment in February. Other top commits include Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star CB Cobey Sellers and Denton (Texas) Ryan four-star interior offensive lineman Marcus Garcia.

10. Notre Dame — 91.025

Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall four-star offensive tackle Will Black continues to rise in the rankings. The 22-man class consists of 13 blue-chip prospects, including elite quarterback Lucedale (Miss.) George County four-star Deuce Knight.
Indianapolis Ben Davis four-star cornerback joins Mark Zackery and Chicago Simeon four-star EDGE Christopher Burgess in the top 100.
Tampa Berkeley Prep four-star safety Dallas Golden committed in late April. Green Bay (Wis.) Notre Dame De La Baie tight end James Flanigan also ranks inside the top 200 of the On3 Industry Ranking. Winston Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor four-star safety JaDon Blair is the latest to join the Irish class, having pledged on July 5.
11. Miami — 90.973

Top Commit: Jacksonville Mandarin four-star SAF Hylton Stubbs, No. 55 NATL. (No. 4 SAF).
The four highest-ranked commitments in the class have joined in July. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star linebacker Gavin Nix pledged on July 1 and was followed by Jacksonville Mandarin four-star safety Hylton Stubbs three days later. Las Vegas Bishop Gorman top-100 interior offensive lineman SJ Alofaituli is the newest addition to the class. And over the weekend, the ‘Canes beat out LSU for four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine as well.
Miami added eight commits in June — four of whom are four-stars. Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star cornerback Chris Ewald headlines that group of commits. Miami Central four-star safety Amari Wallace, Sanford (Fla.) Seminole four-star interior offensive lineman Max Buchanan and Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military four-star EDGE Herbert Scroggins helped make a splash last month.
Tampa Armwood four-star running back Girard Pringle announced his commitment at the end of March. Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola four-star linebacker Elijah Melendez, Leo (Ind.) four-star tight end Brock Schott, four-star tight end Luka Gilbert and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star quarterback Luke Nickel round out Miami’s list of blue-chippers.
12. Auburn — 90.737

While it’s been a cold summer for Auburn’s arch rivals in Tuscaloosa, the Tigers are heating up on the trail at the right time. Hugh Freeze and Co. have added 11 commitments to their board since May and look to be trending for more coming in the next few days.
Along with Winters, four-star defensive lineman Malik Autry is one of two top-100 prospects in Auburn’s class right now. They’re joined by fellow four-stars Jakaleb Faulk, Broderick Shull, Tavaris Dice, Jourdin Crawford, Devin Williams and Donovan Starr. The latest to join the fold at the end of June and early July include blue-chip running back Alvin Henderson, cornerback Blake Woodby and defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, who re-flipped back to Auburn after previously flipping to Alabama in March.
13. Oklahoma — 90.541

Top Commit: Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland four-star OT Ryan Fodje, No. 90 NATL. (No. 8 OT).
Co-offensive coordinator Seth Littrell has his quarterback with four-star Kevin Sperry out of the Oklahoma City area. His pledge has helped spur on a string of receiver commitments, led by in-state four-star Elijah Thomas and Texas-based three-star Gracen Harris. The Sooners added another key piece to the puzzle on March 29 with the addition of four-star running back Tory Blaylock.
On the defensive side, the Sooners nabbed three early commitments from linebacker Marcus James, EDGE Alexander Shieldnight and defensive lineman Ka’Mori Moore. They added to that in a big way in April, landing commitments from four-star defensive lineman Trent Wilson, three-star cornerback Maliek Hawkins, and four-star safety Marcus Wimberly.
June saw the additions of four-star athlete CJ Nickson and offensive lineman Darius Afalava, and four-star wide receivers Emmanuel Choice and Marcus Harris also put their names on the commit list. And July kicked off with a major bang as the Sooners beat out Florida, LSU and more for four-star wideout Cortez Mills.
14. Michigan — 90.501

Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall has headlined the defending champs’ class since he committed in April.
Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star safety Ivan Taylor flipped his commitment from Notre Dame to Michigan earlier this week. They are joined in the top 150 by Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh four-star tight end Andrew Olesh and Montgomery Village (Md.) Gonzaga four-star safety Kainoa Winston.
Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star quarterback Carter Smith is the signal-caller for the class and pledged to UofM last November.
15. Texas — 90.329

While the 2025 class has been a bit of a disappointment so far by Texas’ standards, the Longhorns still have a talented group of more than a dozen prospects committed.
The headliner of the group is Jackson, who sits just outside five-star status in the On3 Industry Ranking. The ‘Horns have a pair of top-100 defenders to go along with him in EDGE Smith Orogbo and linebacker Elijah Barnes, both from the Lone Star State.
Saraland (Ala.) four-star quarterback K.J. Lacey is the centerpiece of the Longhorns’ offensive class, and he’s joined by two four-star running backs — James Simon and Rickey Stewart Jr. — as well as four-star tight ends Emaree Winston and Nick Townsend, who committed on Monday.
