With Week 9 of college football set to feature several exciting matchups, FanDuel has released the point spreads for some of the biggest games. We’re starting to get a much clearer picture of who the contenders are in each conference, and this week should help decide things even more.

Week 8 saw Ohio State earn a big win against Penn State, North Carolina suffer its first loss of the season and USC continue to fall as it dropped its second straight game. This week features a pivotal Pac-12 battle between Oregon and Utah, as well as the classic SEC rivalry of Florida and Georgia.

With games like that, it’s setting up to be another action-packed slate, and you can view the point spreads for every Week 9 college football game below.

No. 6 Oklahoma (-10) at Kansas

Details: noon ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on FOX
Coming off of a big win in the Red River Rivalry and a bye week, Oklahoma barely scraped by against UCF with a 31-29 win on Saturday. The Sooners needed a couple of fourth quarter touchdowns to pull away for good, and Dillon Gabriel finished the day with 253 yards passing, three touchdowns and one interception.

Kansas has been playing without quarterback Jalon Daniels for the past three games due to a back injury and has gone 1-2 with Jason Bean starting in his place. It’s unclear whether Daniels will be able to return for this game, but it’s worth noting that the Jayhawks are coming off a bye giving him an extra week to rehab.

South Carolina at Texas A&M (-14.5)

Injuries have continued to plague South Carolina this season as it dropped its third straight game on Saturday by a score of 34-12 to Missouri. Receiver Xavier Legette left that game with injury as the Gamecocks failed to score a single touchdown all afternoon.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M lost back-to-back games to Alabama and Tennessee by less than a touchdown each and is looking to get right coming off of a bye. The Aggies have been one of the better teams in the conference at getting to the quarterback, so it could be another rough day for Spencer Rattler.

No. 1 Georgia (-14.5) vs. Florida

Whether you call it the Florida-Georgia rivalry or the other way around, this is one of the most anticipated battles in college football every year. The Gators have lost the last two meetings but enter this year’s contest tied for second place behind the Bulldogs in the SEC East standings.

Georgia has reeled off 19 straight victories, with its most recent loss coming in the 2021 conference championship game against Alabama. However, the Bulldogs have had several close calls already this season and are without star tight end Brock Bowers due to injury.

No. 8 Oregon (-6.5) at No. 13 Utah

Oregon rebounded after dropping a heartbreaker to Washington in Week 7 with a 38-24 win against Washington State on Saturday. The path is still there for the Ducks to reach the Pac-12 title game, and this is one of many tough tests ahead for Bo Nix and company to get there.

Utah has managed to scrape by so far without quarterback Cam Rising, whom the Utes announced Saturday will be shut down for the remainder of the year. Still, they’re currently tied for second place in the conference and are coming off a 34-32 victory against USC this past week in which they tied a season-high for points scored.

BYU at No. 7 Texas (-17.5)

Details: 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on ABC
Texas managed to bounce back from its Week 6 loss to Oklahoma by beating Houston 31-24 this past week, but it didn’t come without a cost. Quarterback Quinn Ewers suffered a shoulder injury near the end of the contest and had to leave the game, putting his status against BYU in question.

If Ewers is unable to go, the Longhorns would likely turn to Maalik Murphy, who stepped in briefly during his absence Saturday. The Cougars have been surprisingly solid in their first season of Big 12 play with a 2-2 conference record so far and most recently won 27-14 against Texas Tech.

No. 20 Duke at No. 18 Louisville (-4.5)

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Details: 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on ESPN
Duke looked on its way to an upset win against Florida State on Saturday night before the Seminoles took over in the second half. After quarterback Riley Leonard left the game with an ankle injury, the Blue Devils went scoreless as they gave up three straight touchdowns in a 38-20 loss.

Leonard’s status will be a critical one to watch ahead of this Week 9 college football showdown with the Cardinals. Louisville is coming off of its first loss of the season this past week after similarly being outscored 24-0 in the second half by Pittsburgh. It’s a bounce back spot for both teams and should come down to the wire.

No. 21 Tennessee (-3.5) at Kentucky

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Details: 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on ESPN
The Vols couldn’t make it two in a row against Alabama after beating the Crimson Tide last year, as they fell 34-20 on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. They actually managed to hold a 20-7 lead at halftime before being outscored 27-0 in a second-half collapse, a common theme for many teams this past week.

Now Tennessee remains on the road as it travels to Lexington to take on a Kentucky team coming off a bye week and looking to snap a two-game losing skid. The Vols face another challenge against a strong Wildcats defensive front that ranks second in the SEC in rushing yards allowed per game (95.7)

No. 3 Ohio State (-14.5) at Wisconsin

Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK

Details: 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on NBC
Ohio State notched an important victory in the Big Ten East race this past week, defeating Penn State 20-12. The defense looked dominant in holding the vaunted Nittany Lions rushing attack to just 46 yards on 1.9 yards per carry as Marvin Harrison Jr. exploded for 162 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches.

Now the Buckeyes turn their attention to a Badgers team that currently sits atop the Big Ten West standings. We could have a potential preview of the conference title game here, and Ohio State’s run defense will again be put to the test against Braelon Allen.

Colorado at No. 23 UCLA (-17.5)

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Details: 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on ABC
Colorado has cooled off considerably since its hot 3-0 start to the season, now having lost three of its past four games. Shedeur Sanders continues to put up massive numbers, however, and the Buffaloes recently got star Travis Hunter back after he missed a couple of games with a lacerated liver.

Hunter immediately made his presence felt in a double overtime loss to Stanford, finishing with 140 yards and two touchdown catches along with five tackles on defense. The Cardinal is a team that UCLA just beat 42-7, so it would seem the Bruins have the Buffaloes outmatched here at home.

No. 11 Oregon State (-3.5) at Arizona

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Details: 10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28 on ESPN
Oregon State remains one of four teams with one loss in the Pac-12 standings fighting for a chance to reach the conference championship. The Beavers have been one of the top rushing attacks in the Pac-12 this year, averaging 195.1 yards per game, but showed they can get it done through the air as well in a 36-24 win against UCLA this past week.

However, Arizona has already given Washington and USC close calls this season and recently put a 44-6 beating on a then-ranked Washington State team. The Wildcats managed more than 500 yards of total offense in that one and will aim to spoil another surging team on Saturday.
