College GameDay announces Week 1 performer, guest picker for Ohio State v Notre Dame
College GameDay has announced their Week 1 guest picker for the highly anticipated Ohio State vs. Notre Dame showdown, and it’s none other than rapper Jack Harlow.
In addition to his time on the desk, Harlow will also perform for the crowd in Columbus. On Sunday, the artist — who released his album Come Home the Kids Miss You in May — revealed the news.

“What’s up y’all, it’s Jack and I’m hyped to let you know that I will be at College GameDay next Saturday in Columbus, and I’m the first guest picker of the season,” revealed Harlow. “I’ll see you there.”
Moreover, Harlow is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, so many will question his ties to either Ohio State or Notre Dame. Nevertheless, the musical artist is obviously a huge sports fan, also playing in the NBA Celebrity All Star Game and preparing to star in a remake of the famous basketball movie White Men Can’t Jump.
Jack Harlow will bring the energy to Columbus, but now the question is can he correctly pick some Week 1 winners when pitted against Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and the great Lee Corso. The fun begins on Saturday, and Harlow will have to bring his best.

Joining Dan Dakich on Don’t @ Me via Outkick, the former Buckeyes coach revealed if he thinks Notre Dame can hang with Ohio State when the lights are brightest.
“I think they can,” responded Meyer. “I watched a lot of their tape. I think this Marcus Freeman — he played at Ohio State, I know him a little bit. Great person. Everybody respects him. He’s 36-years old. He was the head coach at Notre Dame, and he lost at the bowl game and here he goes into Ohio Stadium. That’s tough too, first two games.
“I think Notre Dame is very talented. I think (Notre Dame offensive coordinator) [Tommy] Rees does a really good job on offense, I’ve been studying their offense and he does a really good job. I think it’s going to be a great game.”
Evidently, Urban Meyer doesn’t believe it’ll be a walk in the park for the Buckeyes when the Fighting Irish come to town. Nevertheless, the hype is real for the showdown, and both sides will be wanting a victory to begin their season with a bang.
