We saw some shifts at 125 as Peterson vaulted back into the top 10, beating Lilledahl and handing the Penn State freshman his first loss over the weekend. Poulin moved up and is now 17-1 on the season. Ramos and Robinson are still undefeated.

InterMat rankings Week 2

7. Braeden Davis, Penn State
8. Nasir Bailey, Arkansas-Little Rock
9. Dylan Shawver, Rutgers
10. Nic Bouzakis, Ohio State

No changes across 133 pounds this week and based on rumblings around the sport, Crookham could very well be back by the postseason. Ayala missed the Ohio State dual but should be back to wrestle against Penn State Friday. Byrd and Davis beat Shawver head to head this weekend and Big Tens will be absolutely bonkers.

141 lbs.

1. Jesse Mendez, Ohio State
2. Andrew Alirez, Northern Colorado
3. Beau Bartlett, Penn State
4. Cael Happel, Northern Iowa (+1)
5. Tagen Jamison, Oklahoma State (-1)

7. Josh Koderhandt, Navy
8. Vance Vombaur, Minnesota
9. CJ Composto, UPenn
10. Sam Latona, Virginia Tech

Happel beat Jamison head to head so they switched spots this week at 141. Other than that, there were no changes. Mendez, Alirez and Bartlett are still all undefeated on the season. Mendez and Bartlett are bound to see each other in the Big Ten finals at this point.

149 lbs.

1. Caleb Henson, Virginia Tech
2. Kyle Parco, Iowa
3. Ridge Lovett, Nebraska
4. Shayne Van Ness, Penn State

The top seven stayed the same this week but there are two new faces. Johnson is 16-2 this season and moved up three spots. Alvarez is back in the top 10 since his time at Rutgers. Following his career there and one year at Oklahoma State, Alvarez has had a resurgence at Rider in his final season, beating Princeton’s Ty Whalen and giving him his first loss.

9. Trevor Chumbley, Northwestern
10. Rafael Hipolito, Virginia Tech

Teemer returned to the mat against Ohio State and beat Sammy Sasso and looked pretty healthy doing so. Kasak is still undefeated and Taylor and Downey switched spots after the weekend. Other than that, it’s the same crew.

165 lbs.

Mesenbrink, Caliendo and Hall are a combined 50-0. That’s insane. Mesenbrink and Caliendo are set to face off Friday when Penn State wrestles Iowa. Minto, a freshman, is officially in the rankings now and is 15-1 this season after replacing former starter Bubba Wilson.

174 lbs.

1. Keegan O’Toole, Missouri

7. Alex Cramer, Central Michigan (+2)
8. Garrett Thompson, Ohio
9. Cade DeVos, South Dakota State (+2)
10. Nick Incontrera, UPenn (-3)

O’Toole remains in the top spot despite officially revealing he won’t return until the end of February. Haines kept his winning streak going since losing to O’Toole and Hamiti is still undefeated. Kharchla beat Kennedy head to head on Saturday and DeVos is back in the top 10 and is now 12-5 this year.

8. Andy Smith, Virginia Tech
9. Isaiah Salazar, Minnesota
10. Mac Sout, Pittsburgh (+1)

The top nine guys all stayed the same this week with the top four all unbeaten. Buchanan and Barr are slated to clash Friday night in what should be must-see TV. Stout moved up a spot as he’s been one of Pitt’s most impressive wrestlers this season.

285 lbs.

1. Gable Steveson, Minnesota
2. Greg Kerkvliet, Penn State
3. Wyatt Hendrickson, Oklahoma State
