The latest InterMat rankings are in following Week 15 of the season as we are getting closer to the postseason!
There were some shakeups in the rankings this week and some unbeaten wrestlers finally lost. Seedings could be whacky in a few weeks!
Let’s dive into the latest InterMat rankings, seeing No. 1 through 10 in each weight class.
125 lbs.
1. Matt Ramos, Purdue
2. Richie Figueroa, Arizona State
3. Vince Robinson, NC State

133 lbs.

1. Ryan Crookham, Lehigh
2. Zeth Romney, Cal Poly
3. Drake Ayala, Iowa
4. Lucas Byrd, Illinois
5. Evan Frost, Iowa State

7. Tyler Knox, Stanford (-1)
8. Braeden Davis, Penn State (-1)
9. Nasir Bailey, Arkansas-Little Rock (-1)
10. Dylan Shawver, Rutgers (-1)
The top five remained intact and there’s more noise about Crookham getting closer to a return for the postseason. He’s only 5-0 this season. Brown upset Shawver and moved up five spots, shifting everyone else down.
141 lbs.
1. Jesse Mendez, Ohio State
2. Andrew Alirez, Northern Colorado
3. Beau Bartlett, Penn State
4. Cael Happel, Northern Iowa
5. Tagen Jamison, Oklahoma State
6. Brock Hardy, Nebraska
7. Josh Koderhandt, Navy
8. Vance Vombaur, Minnesota
9. CJ Composto, UPenn
10. Sam Latona, Virginia Tech
The top 10 are the same this week as Mendez, Alirez and Bartlett are still undefeated. With the way this is shaking out, Mendez and Bartlett are due for another battle in the Big Ten finals after this coming Friday’s dual.
149 lbs.
1. Caleb Henson, Virginia Tech
2. Shayne Van Ness, Penn State (+1)
3. Kyle Parco, Iowa (+1)
4. Ridge Lovett, Nebraska (-2)
5. Lachlan McNeil, North Carolina
6. Paniro Johnson, Iowa State (+1)
7. Dylan D’Emilio, Ohio State (+1)
8. Ethan Stiles, Oregon State (+10)
9. Chance Lamer, Cal Poly (-3)
10. Jaden Abas, Stanford (-1)
Parco beat Lovett to shake things up again at 149. Henson is still unbeaten and at the top of the rankings. Johnson and D’Emilio moved up as well but it was Stiles with a huge jump. The freshman is now 11-4 on the season.
157 lbs.

1. Tyler Kasak, Penn State
2. Meyer Shapiro, Cornell
3. Jacori Teemer, Iowa
4. Antrell Taylor, Nebraska
5. Ryder Downey, Northern Iowa
6. Ethen Miller, Maryland
7. Joey Blaze, Purdue
8. Tommy Askey, Minnesota
9. Trevor Chumbley, Northwestern
10. Rafael Hipolito, Virginia Tech
No changes at 157 this week despite Kasak’s injury default loss to Miller. We’ll have to monitor his health prior to the postseason and wonder what the seedings will be at Big Tens. Shapiro is still squarely in the NCAA title hunt as well.
165 lbs.
1. Mitchell Mesenbrink, Penn State
2. Mikey Caliendo, Iowa
3. Terrell Barraclough, Utah Valley (+1)
4. Peyton Hall, West Virginia (-1)
5. Julian Ramirez, Cornell

Barraclough knocked off Hall, giving him his first loss of the season and moved up a spot. Otherwise, the rankings stayed pretty much the same and Mesenbrink is the lone unbeaten left at 165.
174 lbs.
1. Keegan O’Toole, Missouri
2. Levi Haines, Penn State
3. Dean Hamiti, Oklahoma State
4. Lorenzo Norman, Stanford
5. Carson Kharchla, Ohio State
6. Garrett Thompson, Ohio (+1)
7. Alex Cramer, Central Michigan (+1)
8. Cade DeVos, South Dakota State (+1)
9. Simon Ruiz, Cornell (+2)
10. Lenny Pinto, Nebraska (+4)
Pinto is back in the top 10 after knocking off Iowa’s Patrick Kennedy, knocking the latter out of the top 10. Other than that, we still have the same faces near the top of 174 with O’Toole expected to be back at the end of the month.
184 lbs.

1. Carter Starocci, Penn State
2. Parker Keckeisen, Northern Iowa
3. Dustin Plott, Oklahoma State
4. Max McEnelly, Minnesota
5. Bennett Berge, South Dakota State (+1)
6. Chris Foca, Cornell (+2)
7. Silas Allred, Nebraska (+1)
8. Gabe Arnold, Iowa (-3)
9. Colton Hawks, Missouri
10. Evan Bockman, Iowa State
Arnold fell to Allred, losing his first match of the season so there are three unbeatens left: Starocci, Keckeisen and McEnelly. Pretty much the same group as last week.
197 lbs.
1. Stephen Buchanan, Iowa
2. AJ Ferrari, CSU Bakersfield (+1)
3. Josh Barr, Penn State (+1)
4. Jacob Cardenas, Michigan (-2)
5. Michael Beard, Lehigh (+1)
6. Luke Surber, Oklahoma State (+1)
7. Stephen Little, Arkansas-Little Rock (-2)
8. Isaiah Salazar, Minnesota (+1)
9. Trey Munoz, Oregon State (NR)
10. Mac Sout, Pittsburgh
Buchanan is an absolute dog and is still undefeated on the season, as is Ferrari, who moved up a spot. Barr got his biggest win of the season, beating a previously unbeaten Cardenas in tiebreakers, so he gets a bump. Munoz returned to the rankings after it looked like he would ride the injury bench for a while.
285 lbs.
1. Gable Steveson, Minnesota
2. Greg Kerkvliet, Penn State
3. Wyatt Hendrickson, Oklahoma State
4. Isaac Trumble, NC State
5. Cohlton Schultz, Arizona State
6. Owen Trephan, Lehigh
7. Yaraslau Slavikouski, Rutgers
8. Josh Heindselman, Michigan
9. Nick Feldman, Ohio State
10. Luke Luffman, Illinois
The top 10 stayed the same this week with Steveson, Kerkvliet, Hendrickson and Trephan all undefeated on the season. Feldman actually limited Steveson to a major decision as the latter has pinned or teched every opponent this year so far.
