Columbia grad transfer Ike Nweke hearing from a host of schools
Columbia graduate transfer Ike Nweke has had a busy week. The Maryland native entered the Transfer Portal on Monday and has since heard from 20+ schools.
Xavier, Seton Hall, Georgia Tech, Loyola Chicago, North Texas, ETSU, LMU, Robert Morris, Western Kentucky, Kent State, Stetson, Howard, Charlotte, Bryant, Pacific, Utah Valley, California Baptist, Western Carolina, Georgia State, Southern Utah, Richmond, and Indiana State have all inquired about Nweke, he said in a text.

“I’m just looking for the best fit, as well as a place that will help me advance my skill set… I feel like I have a unique skill set and I think I can help teams win. Just want a place that feels the same way! I also want to win,” Nweke said in regards to what he’s looking for in his next school.
Standing at 6-foot-7, 248 pounds, Nweke averaged nearly 16 points a game this season, on 52.9% from the field. He also added 6.3 rebounds per outing.
