Coveted Kansas City WR Mudia Reuben to announce commitment this week
Decision day is right around the corner for Riverside (Mo.) Park Hill South receiver Mudia Reuben.
The star receiver from Kansas City announced on social media Sunday night he will be “committing this week.”
Reuben, who is 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, is down to Stanford, Vanderbilt and Kansas State. He has taken official visits to all three schools, including trips to Stanford on Oct. 2 and Kansas State on Oct. 16. While he says Vandy is still involved, intel indicates that it’s a two-team race between the Wildcats and Cardinal with Stanford holding the lead before the last round of visits.
Reuben is one of the top-ranked players in Missouri and a three-star prospect, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average.
K-State got last visit for Mudia Reuben
Mudia Reuben is a coveted receiver on K-State’s board, and the Wildcats did all they could to impress him on his final official visit of the recruiting cycle. His visit to Manhattan on Oct. 16 was the third time he had been to campus.
“We got a lot more information from the academic side,” he told K-StateOnline.com. “I think they got most of the information they were looking for, answered, if not all. For them, it was mostly academic and some general questions about the school as a whole.”

While the lure of academics is big for Mudia Reuben, K-State does have one family connection that could be huge for him.
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, who has become a household name in the nation after nearly breaking the NCAA single-game sack record this past weekend, hosted him on his official visit. Anudike-Uzomah and Reuben are cousins.
“We’re weighing everything out and whatnot,” Reuben told K-StateOnline. “It’s definitely going to be a tough decision. I won’t waste any time releasing it.”
Park Hill South is 10-0 on the season, largely thanks to the efforts of Reuben. He’s got 857 yards receiving, 12 touchdowns and averages 21.4 yards a reception. The Panthers face rival Park Hill in the second round of the Missouri Class 6 playoffs on Friday night.
