Creighton forward Mason Miller enters NCAA transfer portal

Creighton contributor Mason Miller has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He is the son of former Florida star and two-time NBA champion Mike Miller.
Miller is coming off his third season with the Bluejays. He was mainly a contributor off the bench, having spent the previous season as a full-time starter at Creighton.
Mason Miller averaged just 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game while averaging 11.7 minutes per contest. He started in just four of the team’s 32 games this season.
That comes one year after Miller was much more involved for the perennial NCAA Tournament contenders. In 2023-24, Miller started all 33 of his team’s games.
During that time, he averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Miller also shot a blistering 45.4% from 3-point range during that season.

However, his numbers took a serious nosedive in 2024-25. Mason Miller finished his 2024-25 campaign shooting just 17.1% from 3-point land, making 7-of-41.
Mason Miller not the only portal entrant
While news of Mason Miller’s entrance into the NCAA transfer portal dropped on Wednesday, so did that of another Creighton player. A guard will also be seeking a new home.
Creighton junior guard Pop Isaacs plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Joe Tipton. Isaacs averaged 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists before ending his 2024-25 season after eight games following a season-ending hip injury in December.
Isaacs was a four-star prospect out of Coronado High in Las Vegas (NV), where he as the No. 92 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle and the No. 15 ranked point guard, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Isaacs was also the No. 15 point guard in his class and the No. 1 overall player from the state, hailing from Mount Pleasant (UT) Coronado.
On3’s Alex Byington also contributed to this report.
