It’s that time of the year again. With the College World Series over and a new champion crowned, D1Baseball released its 2023 All-America Teams.

Unsurprisingly, LSU has its fair share of names on the list. The Tigers finished the season 54-17, defeating Florida 18-4 in Game 3 of the CWS to win the program’s first national title since 2009. The D1Baseball staff discussed the Tigers’ season at length in the article.

“D1Baseball Player of the Year Paul Skenes is one of three standouts from national champion LSU on the 2023 D1Baseball All-America teams. Skenes and teammate Dylan Crews are the only two players to earn All-America honors each of the last three years.

“Both of them were second-teamers as freshmen in 2021, and both made the first team in 2022 and 2023. They are joined by LSU third baseman Tommy White, who moves up from the third team as a freshman last year to the second team as a sophomore,” the D1Baseball staff wrote.

While LSU won the CWS, it isn’t the program with the most players to make D1Baseball’s All-America Teams. Instead, Wake Forest leads all teams with six All-Americans overall and three players on the first team.
