D1Baseball releases updated Top 25 rankings as postseason nears
The postseason is rapidly approaching across college baseball, with most leagues having just one weekend series remaining before the start of conference tournaments. As the regional hosting picture continues to become more and more clear, D1Baseball has released updated Top 25 rankings following the past week.
The top ten in D1Baseball’s Top 25 rankings feature no new teams inside the top ten, although all but two teams remain in the same slots from last week’s rankings. Top-ranked Tennessee lost its series finale against Georgia on Saturday, but the Volunteers went 3-1 on the week and again remain in the top spot in the rankings. Oregon State went 2-2 on the week and lost a weekend series against Arizona, but the Beavers remained in the No. 2 spot behind Tennessee. Behind Oregon State, though, there were a lot of changes.
