D1Baseball updates Top 25 rankings after latest week of college baseball
Another week of college baseball is in the books as the end of the regular season is now just a month away. Over the past week, the teams ranked in D1Baseball’s previous Top 25 had a pretty successful week.
Seven ranked teams had perfect weeks, affirming their spot in the latest D1Baseball Top 25 rankings, which were released on Monday morning.
Top-ranked Tennessee went 4-0 on the week, maintaining its hold on the top spot in the rankings. Southern Miss and Virginia Tech both went 5-0, with the Golden Eagles rising up to No. 4 and the Hokies reaching No. 7 in this week’s D1Baseball Top 25 rankings. Texas State (No. 17), Notre Dame (No. 18) and Auburn (No. 19) all went undefeated on the week as well, standing pat in this week’s rankings. LSU also went 4-0 and stayed in the No. 22 spot.

Tennessee and Oregon State remained in the top two spots in the Top 25 rankings from D1Baseball, but the rest of the top 10 saw changes. Miami rose from No. 5 to No. 3 and Southern Miss jumped to No. 4, with Arkansas falling from No. 4 to No. 5. Stanford and Virginia Tech rose one spot each, with Oklahoma State falling from No. 3 to No. 8. Texas Tech and Texas held a firm hold on the final two spots in the top ten.

There are two new teams in this week’s D1Baseball Top 25, with Texas A&M (No. 21) and Wofford (No. 25) joining the rankings. They took the spots of Oregon (previously No. 20) and Dallas Baptist (previously No. 23), both of which fell out of this week’s Top 25.
