Dan Mullen names his top-performing quarterbacks from Week 11 of college football

Former SEC head coach and ESPN analyst Dan Mullen is back at it, releasing his weekly list of the top-performing quarterbacks across college football following an exciting Week 11.

Although the former quarterback coach’s list is usually heavily-laden with Power Five or Group of Five signal-callers, this week’s featured a Patriot League QB and an Ivy League QB.

Below is the full list of Dan Mullen’s top-performing quarterbacks from Week 11.

Dan Mullen’s top-performing quarterbacks from Week 11

Drake Maye, North Carolina

Leading all FBS quarterbacks in touchdown passes this season, Drake Maye added three more to his resume on Saturday in the 36-34 win over Wake Forest. He went 31-of-49 for 448 passing yards, in addition to 71 rushing yards.

Tim DeMorat, Fordham

The 8-2 Fordham Rams beat Lafeyette on Saturday behind 482 yards and four touchdowns by Tim DeMorat. He has a whopping 4,107 passing yards this season with 47 touchdowns and a 65.8% completion rate.

Hendon Hooker, Tennessee

Vols star QB Hendon Hooker contributed 405 of the team’s 724 yards of offense against Missouri, which broke the record for total yards in a game. He had 25 completions and four touchdowns, three of which came through the air.

Charlie Dean, Harvard

Charlie Dean had a dominant day on Saturday in Harvard’s 37-14 takedown of Penn. He went 29-for-38, racking up 316 yards and four touchdowns. His 76% completion rate was his highest mark of the 2022 season so far.

Michael Penix Jr., Washington

The Washington Huskies probably couldn’t have toppled Oregon without Michael Penix on Saturday. Penix, one of the NCAA’s top quarterbacks this season overall, had 408 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on a 74.3% completion day.

Bert Emanuel Jr., Central Michigan

Freshman quarterback Bert Emanuel Jr. wasn’t even the top QB for Central Michigan on Saturday but he rushed for 293 yards and the first three touchdowns of his career in a 17-point comeback effort.
