Dan Mullen kept his game predictions going today with his selections for Week 7 of the college football season. It may be the best slate of games to this point of the 2022 campaign with several major conference matchups. However, Mullen’s picks were mostly chalk based on this week’s AP Poll.

Mullen tweeted out his picks earlier today with all the higher ranked or home teams taking away wins.

In the SEC, Mullen is riding with Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi State on Saturday. Tennessee will test the Crimson Tide in the Top-10 matchup in Knoxville. Still, Mullen is taking Saban to lead the program to their 16th straight win over the Vols. Meanwhile, after how LSU and Kentucky looked last weekend, it’s hard to argue against predictions for the Gators and Bulldogs.

From there, Mullen has Clemson handling business in Tallahassee against Florida State and NC State going on the road to Syracuse and knocking off the undefeated Orange. All four teams would be greatly helped in the ACC Atlantic with wins, but Mullen has the Tigers and Wolfpack being the two to do so.

Mullen is then taking Michigan to come out triumphant in a Top-10 battle of unbeaten Big Ten contenders against Penn State, Oklahoma State to remain victorious on the road at TCU, and USC to win one of the most anticipated Pac-12 games of the year against Utah. Wins by each of those teams would solidify their spots within the Top-10 heading into Week 8.

Again, Saturday’s schedule is chock full of exciting matchups that could determine how this season shakes out. It has tons of games that have major implications for each conference as well as the CFP. Only time will tell if Mullen is right, though, with kickoff set for noon EST tomorrow.
