Dante Moore: Latest On3 RPM with 4-star 2023 quarterback
With Signing Day in the rearview mirror, the On3 football recruiting database has flipped to the 2023 class. With that in mind, it’s the perfect time to check in to see where the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine sits with the nation’s top junior recruits, including four-star quarterback Dante Moore.
Dante Moore
Detroit Martin Luther King
On3 Consensus: No. 17
On3 NIL Valuation: $38K
Status: Uncommitted
On3 RPM: Michigan (38.1%), Michigan State (24.1%), Notre Dame (14.6%), Penn State (7.4%), Florida Atlantic (2.6%), Oregon (2.6%), Ohio State (2.6%), Florida State (2.6%), Miami (2.6%).
On3 Intel: The top of the 2023 quarterback class is elite. And while Dante Moore isn’t a five-star quarterback yet, he is trending to join Arch Manning, Malachi Nelson and Nico Iamaleava with that distinction very soon.
With Nelson having been committing to Lincoln Riley — first at Oklahoma and now at USC — since the summer and Manning appearing to be set on a select group of schools, Moore becomes an even more prized recruit.
Early on, it appears the local powerhouses have been the top players so far. RPM gives Moore a nearly 87% chance of ending up at a Big Ten school or Notre Dame.
But Moore is also starting to cast his direction towards schools outside of the Midwest. He has gone one visits to Miami and Oregon in recent weeks.
Moore has told Joseph Hastings of Clemson Sports that he wants to make the most of his recruitment so this one will probably last into the fall.

Dante Moore is special
Dante Moore currently ranks as the No. 17 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the top player from the state of Michigan, and the fourth-best quarterback in the cycle.
Moore has an On3 NIL Valuation of $38,000, which ranks 101st among all high school football players. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
What is the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine?
The On3 RPM debuted to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
