Nebraska is off to a flying start in Lincoln, up 21-0 in a huge rivalry game against Colorado. The offense and defense have contributed to the scoreboard to make it an all-around performance. Plenty of people on social media are impressed with the Huskers and David Pollack may be at the top of the list.

Pollack took to social media to praise Nebraska, talking about their early start. He is certainly a member of the Dylan Raiola fan club while believing in what head coach Matt Rhule can do.

At least nine wins is where Pollack sees Nebraska in the future, potentially being in the middle of the College Football Playoff conversation in November — a place they have not been in a long, long time.

“Unreal start for @HuskerFootball,” Pollack said via X. “Dialed in! Owning the line of scrimmage! I’ve been a Matt Rhule believer for a long time and I know he’s got his QB. Huskers gonna win at least 9 this year. Gonna be in the playoff mix.”

At least from the outside, there has been a sense Nebraska could rattle off wins if they were able to take down Colorado. Next week is a nonconference matchup against Northern Iowa before four winnable games against Big Ten foes.

Victories in those would make the Huskers 7-0 before traveling to Columbus to face off against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Imagine the atmosphere in the Shoe if that game had a little more on the line than just a normal regular season game. The College Football Playoff talk would be running rampant on both sides.

But there is a lot of football to be played before dreaming about the postseason. Nebraska will have 100% of its focus on closing out Colorado, something they have not done in the past three games. The program is desperate to get one over their old-school rival.
