4-star PF David Punch sets commitment date

David Punch, On3’s No. 97 overall prospect in the 2024 class, is ready to make his college commitment.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound power forward out of Harker Heights (Texas) High will announce his college decision on Saturday, October 21st at 3:00 PM CT on the On3 Recruits YouTube Channel.

Punch will be choosing between three schools: NC State, Penn State, and TCU.

In addition to his finalists, Punch also received offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Xavier and others.

“It’s really the motor and production that shines with David Punch. Standing in the 6-6/6-7 range, the forward has good length and a strong frame. He is a good rebounder, effective in and out of his area. He has good timing and is able to high point the ball. Punch can also knock down a spot three. Needs to develop his game off the bounce, become more of a threat in the half court. Punch is a good straight line athlete.
