WR Davion Chandler commits to Illinois over other Big Ten programs

Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North receiver Davion Chandler tells On3 he has committed to Illinois. He gave Bret Bielema and his staff his pledge Saturday during his official visit and went public with his plans Sunday. 

The Hoosier State standout chose the Illini over his other top schools in Indiana and Wisconsin.

Chandler becomes commit No. 7 for the Illini in the 2025 class. On3 ranks him as the nation’s No. 56 receiver and No. 7 overall prospect in Indiana.

As a junior Chandler turned 40 receptions into 779 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also returned two kicks for scores and had a rushing touchdowns.
