Deone Walker injury: Kentucky DL status updated vs Tennessee on Wednesday report
Kentucky and Tennessee will meet in a Week 10 battle in Knoxville with both teams heading in opposite directions this season. Both teams are dealing with some injuries heading into the contest and the initial injury report was released Wednesday to give fans an idea of some of those players’ statuses.
Receiver Squirrel White will be a name to watch for Tennessee after he left with a shoulder injury in a Week 8 win against Alabama. The Vols had a bye this past week to give White ample time to rest in preparation for this matchup.
As for Kentucky, the Wildcats saw running backs Demie Sumo-Karngbaye and Chip Trayanum both sat out last week’s game against Auburn. The status of both backs will be worth monitoring as Kentucky’s backfield depth is once again in question.

The Wildcats are coming off of three straight losses and are 16.5-point underdogs in the contest according to FanDuel. With a 3-5 record on the season, they need to win three of their final four games just to become bowl eligible.
Tennessee, on the other hand, enters as a College Football Playoff contender and is still in the race to compete for the SEC title with only one conference loss. The Vols lead the league in points per game and are third in scoring defense as they have one of the more balanced teams in the country.
This will be the 120th all-time meeting between Kentucky and Tennessee with the Vols holding a commanding 84-26-9 lead in the series. They have also won three straight and appear to be well on their way to making it four if all goes well.
Kickoff between the Wildcats and Volunteers is set for 7:45 p.m. ET on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
