4-star CG Derek Dixon names final six schools

Derek Dixon, a four-star combo guard in the 2025 class, has narrowed his list of schools down to six: Arizona, North Carolina, Pitt, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Virginia.

The 6-foot-4 rising senior out of Gonzaga High (DC) has already taken official visits to Virginia, Pitt, and Syracuse. He’s scheduled to also take official visits to Vanderbilt (8/30), North Carolina (9/6), and Arizona (9/13).

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Dixon is the No. 61 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle. He’s also the No. 5 combo guard prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
