4-star RB Deshonne Redeaux down to six schools

One of the top running back prospects in the 2026 cycle is down to six schools.
On Thursday afternoon, Los Angeles Oaks Christian four-star RB Deshonne Redeaux told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington are his top programs.
Redeaux is the No. 115 overall prospect and No. 12 RB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 14 player in California.
The 5-foot-9.5, 180-pounder is coming off a visit to Eugene, where he was impressed by head coach Dan Lanning and the Oregon staff.
“From the time, I got there at the airport, everyone was checking on me and making sure I was good,” Redeaux told On3’s Chad Simmons. “They showed me from the start that they cared about me. Coach Lanning spent a lot of time with me, coach Samples went into great detail with me and so many things showed me what I mean to them.

In-state USC and UCLA have both had Redeaux on campus plenty throughout his process and both made the cut on Thursday. When speaking with On3 last year, Redeaux broke down what he’s looking for in his potential home at the next level.
“It will be about how the staff and people treat me,” Redeaux said. “Life outside of football is also something I am looking hard at. I will know about the football stuff at the schools I am looking at, so I want to know more about life outside of football and if the coaches care about the players. Those types of things will matter.”
As a junior for Oaks Christian, Redeaux ran for over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns. The Lions won nine games and finished as the No. 20 team in California, per the On3 Composite Rankings.
