Elite 2026 WR Devin Carter decommits from Florida State
Elite 2026 WR Devin Carter of Ellenwood (GA) Cedar Grove High announced his commitment from Florida State Monday night.
The 6-foot, 170 pounder had been committed to the Seminoles since April.
Carter sent a statement to On3:
“First off I just want to express the love I have for coach Norvell and Florida State and the appreciation I have for the coaching staff for giving me an opportunity to attend The Florida State University. But After talking with my family I have decided it’s best for me to decommit from The Florida State University. Florida State is still one of my top schools and still is my dream school but at the moment after consulting with my Dad I think it’s best to weigh all my options and commit my senior year.”
