Mission Viejo (Calif.) five-star cornerback Dijon Lee has signed with Alabama.

The 6-foot-3.25, 187-pounder is the No. 23 overall prospect and No. 4 CB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in California.

Lee continued to make his way down to Tuscaloosa as he worked towards a decision this year, while Georgia and closer-to-home USC and Washington also pushed hard to get him in the fold. The Bulldogs fought hard, but Bama won out on June 28 and have held onto his pledge since.

“It was a really tough decision because I have great relationships at both places and I felt at home at Alabama and Georgia, so I had to weigh all of my options and choose one,” Lee told On3. “It was very tight before the official visit to Alabama.”

“For me, it came down to the relationships, player development, the trust I have in the coaches and how I vibe with the players were big factors. I think the Alabama coaching staff does a great job as a group. That made a big difference.”

Lee is one of four five-stars in Alabama’s 2025 class — which is pushing for the top spot in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Lee tallied over 50 tackles and four interceptions as a senior for Mission Viejo this fall.

Lee has an NIL Valuation of $497,000. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Dijon Lee Scouting Summary

On3’s scouting and rankings team writes this of Lee as a prospect:

“Dijon Lee is a tall, nimble cover corner. He’s a guy who is one of the tallest corners in this cycle. We measured him at over 6-foot-3, 187 pounds at the On3 Elite Series a month ago. I think at that size, he has solid length for the position with 32-inch arms. He’s a guy who has played a lot of very competitive, high-level football at Mission Viejo. Faced a lot of top teams and Power 4-level receivers.

…He has shown high-level feet at that size. Instinctive in coverage, and good at reading receivers and understanding route concepts. Generally finds himself in a good position to make plays on the ball. Had two interceptions as a junior, and we saw him get his hands on a lot of passes in coverage. He’s a guy who I think projects as a boundary cover corner long-term just given his size and skill set.”
