Florida and Texas will meet up this weekend in a matchup of traditional bluebloods, and the injury report will be quite important.

Gators quarterback DJ Lagway was listed as questionable on the Wednesday injury report after suffering a hamstring injury in a game against Georgia last weekend. His status will be hugely impactful on the outcome of the game, as Florida would be down to its third-string quarterback if he can’t play.

Texas also has some notable injuries, though a bye week appears to have allowed some guys more time to heal.

Receiver Isaiah Bond was listed as probable for Saturday’s contest on the Wednesday injury report, a significant upgrade after he missed a game against Vanderbilt two weeks ago.

While all eyes will be on Lagway when it comes to the injury report — and rightfully so — there are a handful of other injuries that could definitely impact Saturday’s matchup quite a bit.

Florida is particularly banged up in the secondary, where it has lost star cornerback Jason Marshall to a shoulder injury for the rest of the season. In addition, cornerback Devin Moore has been ruled out against Texas. Meanwhile, cornerback Dijon Johnson is currently listed as questionable after getting banged up against Georgia.

That’s a healthy chunk of the secondary potentially missing for the Gators.

The Longhorns also have some ailments in the secondary, where defensive back Andew Mukuba is listed as questionable after missing the Vanderbilt game.

In addition, defensive lineman Vernon Broughton will miss the first half of the game against Florida, while EDGE Colton Vasek is listed as questionable.

All of their statuses will be worth keeping an eye on as the final injury report comes in on Saturday.

Florida and Texas are slated for a 12 p.m. ET kickoff, with a national broadcast slated for ABC.
