On this week’s episode of the Drive the Lane Podcast, the guys take a deep dive into the Big Ten Tournament. Ohio State will enter postseason play as the No. 7 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. The Buckeyes will play the No. 10 seed Purdue. The winner of this second-round matchup Thursday will face No. 2 seed Michigan State, who may just be the hottest team in the league entering postseason play. In the last game between the Buckeyes and Purdue, the game was never close, and they won by 16. Kyle Young scored 16 points in the win, but the Buckeyes could be without him when they hit the court this week for the Big Ten Tournament. There’s not a set timetable for a return.

Purdue needs to win a few games to get in to the NCAA Tournament, so Drive the Lane expects the Boilermakers to come out aggressive and determined. They’ve lost five out of their last seven. The Buckeyes, meanwhile, have won four of their last five.

Wisconsin is the top-ranked seeds in the Big Ten Tournament, while Michigan State has the No. 2 seed. Maryland is third, and Illinois is the No. 4 seed.
