2026 4-star IOL Sean Stover commits to Duke
Prosper (Texas) four-star interior offensive lineman Sean Stover, Class of 2026, has committed to the Duke Blue Devils.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder announced his decision on Monday afternoon, choosing the ACC program while also holding offers from Penn State, Oregon and Texas Tech.
Stover is the No. 244 overall prospect and No. 20 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 31 junior in Texas.
Stover visited Durham in September. Head coach Manny Diaz and his staff now have two pledges in the 2026 cycle, as Stover joins McDonough (Ga.) Dutchtown three-star defensive lineman Ayden Cain.
The Blue Devils are now 8-3 this season after picking up a win over Virginia Tech over the weekend. As Diaz’ tenure is off to a fast start, Duke is looking to find some much-needed momentum on the recruiting trail.

He’s now the No. 123 overall prospect and No. 18 EDGE in the cycle. Pittsburgh Central Catholic four-star linebacker Bradley Gompers has been in the class since June 16 and is the No. 129 recruit and No. 10 LB overall. The Blue Devils are battling Michigan late for Gompers’ pledge.
“Duke has always been in the back of my mind. When you take away all of the logos and things like that, and I think about where I will really be happy at, the school is Duke. They have everything for me, and it really came down to me getting over the perception of me going to Duke and going there and making it my own,” Davis told On3 upon flipping from Clemson.
“It came down to me being a top priority for them. Since coach Manny Diaz got there, they have made me feel that way. They treated me and my family great and I love the opportunities they offer. Duke has everything I need.”
Mandeville (La.) three-star running back Nate Sheppard is a top-500 recruit and has been in the class since the end of August. Loganville (Ga.) Christian Academy three-star DL Bariate Kara, Boston Belmont Hill three-star EDGE Sampson Onuoha and Burlington (N.C.) Walter M Williams three-star quarterback Dan Mahan are some of the other top commits in the mix.
