The No. 16 Blue Devils bounced back with a 86-67 win over Florida State Dec. 31 before the New Year’s break. Ryan Young led the scoring for the Blue Devils with 20 points and added 12 rebounds and two assists.

Jaylen Blakes added to the solid performance with 17 points and Dariq Whitehead put up 16 himself in the dominant win over the Seminoles.

Star guard Jeremy Roach was held to nine points, but Duke saw three others step up to get a much needed bounce back win.

NC State won three in a row before dropping a tough game on the road against Clemson Dec. 30 but could pull off the home upset. Duke is the favorite coming into the Wolfpack’s house, but each outlet gives NC State quite the chance to knock off Jon Scheyer’s crew.

Another solid performance from Terquavion Smith could be big for the Wolfpack. Despite a loss to Clemson, he put up 21 points, three rebounds and three assists.
