Duquesne transfer Amir Spears commits to Georgetown

Duquesne transfer Amir “Primo” Spears has committed to Georgetown, he tells On3.

“The Georgetown coaching staff instantly treated me like family,” Spear said to On3. “Brandon Murray is my guy and I can’t wait to share the court with my brother. When Georgetown basketball is doing good, basketball is doing good. It’s time to bring that G-Town ball back!”

Spears, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Hartford, Connecticut, led Duquesne in scoring, averaging 12.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and three assists.
