EA Sports adds Pop-Tart Bowl Mascot among 35 new mascot additions to College Football 26

EA Sports is doing all it can to make fans feel seen in College Football 26. On Monday, EA Sports announced that it will be including a wide slate of numerous new mascots in this year’s installment of the game, including fan favorites like Arkansas‘ Big Red, Duke‘s Blue Devil and even the Pop-Tart from the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
“One of the most cherished aspects of college football is the vibrant mix of traditions and mascots that make each program special,” EA Sports design director Christian Brandt wrote. “From costumed characters that represent school pride to touchdown and turnover celebrations that excite the crowd, these elements are essential to the sport.
“For College Football 26, we prioritized expanding and improving these features to bring even more authenticity and personality to the game. We heard your feedback from last year, and this year, we’re excited to introduce new mascots and touchdowns/turnover traditions that celebrate each program’s uniqueness to immerse players in the lively culture of college football.”
Fans certainly appreciated EA Sports’ attention to detail in College Football 25, the beloved franchise’s first installment in 11 years. Last fall, EA announced that College Football 25 was the largest new console game launch in North America in 2024.
