EA Sports' College Football 25 releases new uniforms for Oregon, Florida State, others

There are several new uniforms that have been added to the EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game for teams across college football. Among those new uniforms are several notable alternatives that teams have worn for the first time during the 2024 season.

Among the teams that EA added new uniforms for twenty different teams around college football. That includes some massive brands like Miami, Oregon, and Texas A&M, as well as smaller schools like James Madison and FIU among others.

YouTuber Eric Ray shared a thread of all the different uniform changes on social media. You can view the pictures of the changes below:

The first post of new uniforms in EA Sports’ College Football 25 includes the Miami all-black alternate uniforms. Sticking in South Florida, it also includes FIU’s Vice U uniforms, which plays into their location in Miami. Meanwhile, UCF‘s 2024 Space U uniforms were also added, which they’ll wear in November. Also on the slide is SMU, who got an alternate with a red jersey and white pants.

In the second post, Florida State‘s blue heritage uniforms are shown. BYU and North Carolina are also given new throwback uniforms that fans are going to be able to play with. On top of that, Purdue has a new alternative all-black uniform.

From there, the black alternate uniforms for James Madison were also added, which come with a gold helmet. Meanwhile, Texas Tech is getting a gray alternate uniform. That uniform is supposed to be inspired by legendary player Patrick Mahomes. The other two uniforms on this post are throwbacks for Colorado and Illinois. The Illinois throwback is the 100-year-old throwback uniform, reminding fans of Red Grange, which they recently wore.

Both sides of the Egg Bowl also received new uniforms in EA Sports’ College Football 25. The new Ole Miss uniform has the team’s “extreme helmet” and a navy jersey. The Mississippi State uniforms are a tribute to the late Mike Leach and offer the pirate flag helmet. Also on the post those two are included in is an all-white Texas A&M alternate uniform and a blue Louisiana Tech uniform.

In the final post of the thread, Oregon gets their new 2024 heroes uniform in the video game. Then, Arizona State got its gold uniforms with a white Sparky helmet as an alternate option. Air Force is also getting a new alternate uniform with their “special operations command” uniforms. Finally, Utah is getting a black alternate throwback uniform to play with in EA Sports’ College Football 25.

EA Sports will likely update the game further in the future, including with more new uniforms. However, for the time being, these uniforms are a major addition to the game.
