EA Sports College Football 25 revealed its top 25 toughest places to play within the game, showcasing the best homefield advantages nationwide.

If you play as one of these teams and host a game, no matter. You’re playing easy mode aren’t you? So step out of your comfort zone.

Let’s dive into the toughest places to play in EA’s new version of the beloved college football video game.

1. Kyle Field – Texas A&M

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

This is the tippy top of the list with the Aggies’ homefield advantage being the toughest to deal with. The 12th man is real and it’s real inside the video game as the toughest place to play.

So basically, if you play at Kyle Field, you’re better off playing as the Aggies, not the opponent. Unless of course, you want a big time challenge.

2. Bryant-Denny Stadium – Alabama

Good ol’ Tuscaloosa. Nick Saban isn’t coaching the team anymore, but Kalen DeBoer should have a really solid squad in 2024. The homefield advantage is real too.

It’s hard to pinpoint a time when the Crimson Tide didn’t have a distinct homefield advantage. It gets loud, rowdy and intimidating.

3. Tiger Stadium – LSU

Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports

Death Valley is real. Well, not exactly real in the literal sense of death, but your hopes of winning here are close to that. Playing in Baton Rouge is never easy.

Just try playing a night game here and you might request LSU loses its stadium lights from now on. The SEC power is good for No. 3 overall. Actually the SEC can lay claim to the top three teams.

4. Ohio Stadium – Ohio State

We finally get away from the South and head north to Ohio at the horseshoe. The Buckeyes arguably have the best homefield advantage in the Big Ten.

Heck, even Michigan couldn’t win here for a while. Ohio State is deadly at home and once you fall behind, you might not be able to call a play from your controller at that point.

5. Sanford Stadium – Georgia

And back to the SEC with this one. The two-time champions want to win a third title in four years in real life, but in a video game, they can be unstoppable of course.

Going down to Athens isn’t fun for the opponent, so if you’re playing online against someone who is a Bulldogs fan, back out. We mean immediately! It’s fine, we won’t tell anyone.

6. Beaver Stadium – Penn State

Dan Rainville / USA TODAY NETWORK

Get ready to hear “Mo Bamba” as your offense trots out onto the field for the opening drive. Scared yet? Of course you are.

Your quarterback will be shaking in his boots, so you better run the football on the first play. Penn State’s white out is one of the best home environments in college football.

7. Camp Randall Stadium – Wisconsin

Are you ready to “Jump Around?” Head coach Luke Fickell can’t wait for it in 2024. That’ll be wild because you’ll play three quarters of epic football.

And then, the music drops. The stadium bounces, it’s loud and your virtual team will forget its fourth quarter game plan.

8. Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium – Oklahoma

SARAH PHIPPS/THE OKLAHOMAN / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Sooners are, yes, an SEC team now. So that makes five of the top eight and just wait, there’s more.

Oklahoma is bound to get better under Brent Venables based on his new contract extension. EA Sports thinks the same thing by taking a lot of history into account. This is an extremely hard place to play.

9. Doak S. Campbell Stadium – Florida State

Alicia Devine/Tallahassee Democrat / USA TODAY NETWORK

We head to Tallahassee for the first ACC school on the list. Florida State didn’t make the College Football Playoff last year, but it still has one of the best homefield advantages.

Okay sure, that might’ve been a low blow, but it’s all good. The Seminoles should be good enough to win the ACC and make this year’s 12-team bracket. The homefield advantage will definitely help.

10. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium – Florida

Alan Youngblood/Special to The Sun / USA TODAY NETWORK

We won’t leave the Sunshine State for the final team in this top 10. Sure, Billy Napier’s tenure hasn’t gotten off to a hot start in two years, but The Swamp is still one of the toughest places to play.

Overall, it’s hard to go into The Swamp and expect a walk in the park. So, if you play at Florida in Dynasty mode or online, good luck.
