4-star IOL Eddy Pierre-Louis sets commitment date, names top 5 schools
Four-star Tampa (Fla.) Catholic offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis is ready to end his recruiting process.
The massive 6-foot-3, 335-pounder is set to commit on December 15, he told On3. Among the five finalists will be: Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M and UCF.
“I felt like this was perfect timing because it’s a couple days before signing day, and I just wanted to get this over with. I’ll have a ceremony at the school with all the people coming out.”
Pierre-Louis has taken numerous visits to campus and heard pitches from across the country, but he knows what is important to him and what his decision will ultimately come down to.
“I want to be comfortable where I’m going to be at, and it’s really based on the coaches and how I feel about them. I’m going to pray about it, talk to my family and make sure this is the right decision for me and them.”

Pierre-Louis wanted to make sure he took in the entire process
At different points throughout his recruitment, Pierre-Louis thought he would commit early. But as time went on, he wanted to make sure he made the right decision. That presented some more challenges, but ultimately he’s happy with how he went about it.
“It has been difficult, but it’s also been a blessing. Having a dream of being D1 and having all these offers is just an opening to other doors. It’s been a good process, but it can get stressful sometimes.”
As he comes down to that decision, Pierre-Louis says one school has stood out above the rest and he is eager to announce his decision.
“I have a good idea of where I’m going.”
He ranks as the No. 309 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also checks in as the nation’s No. 25 offensive lineman and the No. 38 recruit in Florida.
