2024 Three-Star center Eli Delaurier down to 3 schools
Eli Delaurier, a three-star center in the class of 2024, has narrowed his list of offers down to three schools: Mississippi State, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech.
The 6-foot-9, 210-pound prospect out of Charlottesville (VA) Miller School has only taken one official visit — to Starkville to see the Bulldogs. He’s also visited Virginia Tech unofficially. He’s currently in the process of scheduling a visit with Texas A&M. Delaurier hasn’t set a commitment date yet, but says he would like to make a decision in the next couple of months.
In addition to the three schools listed among his top group, Delaurier also received offers from West Virginia, Old Dominion, and Radford.
Delaurier ranks as the No. 180 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus — the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies (ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals, On3).

Delaurier breaks down his finalists
Virginia Tech: “The ACC is my ideal conference and I really love how they run their offense.”
Mississippi State: “Mississippi State has really shown a lot of love and they have voiced their opinion. They really think they can make me into the best player possible.”
Texas A&M: “Texas A&M has really been active in my recruitment and they said I fit their offense really well and could be a valuable asset to the team.”
Scouting Report
“Eli Delaurier has good length with a very projectable frame,” On3’s Jamie Shaw writes. “He is a sneaky athlete. Can knock down a spot three, either in pick and pop situations or as a trail big. He plays with an excellent motor, almost like a bull in a china shop. You want to get a little more fluid in his movements, and the wonder is how he will move laterally. Delaurier is a good area rebounder and not afraid to stick his nose in there and battle around the basket. He comes from a basketball family with a high major mom and two D-I brothers. All reports are how hard of a worker he is.”
