Deerfield Beach (Fla.) four-star linebacker Elias Rudolph is announcing his commitment on July 3. He will be choosing between Miami, Michigan and Pittsburgh.

Rudolph is the No. 293 overall prospect and No. 31 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 43 player in Florida.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Wolverines have a commanding lead for Rudolph’s commitment at 91.1%. He took an official visit to Ann Arbor on the weekend of June 10.

“I’m feeling strong about Michigan,” Rudolph told Zach Libby of The Wolverine on May 15. “The reason why I still have them contending is because they have a well-rounded program. They have the right development, they have the right NFL talent and amazing coaches. I’ve seen the development made on five stars, three-stars and no-stars. I’ve seen the close relationships that are found at Michigan. I’ve also talked to a couple of players inside the program to get feedback on how things have gone for them.”

In addition to his official, Rudolph took an unofficial visit to Michigan on Jan. 28.

“(Michigan is) one of the best, I’m not even going to lie,” Rudolph also said to Libby on Jan. 24. “I love Michigan. I love the coaching staff. I have talked to a couple of them. They’re going to keep it real and that’s what I love about coaches. You can tell the difference if they are or not. But Michigan is one of the top programs in college football.”

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound recruit also took officials to Pittsburgh on the weekend of June 3 and Miami on the weekend of June 17. The Hurricanes have recently caught Rudolph’s attention.

“They jumped late into the party,” Rudolph told Stephen Wagner of CaneSport on June 15. “I feel like I can really give them a chance, see what they can offer to bring to the table. It’s a great program. I was looking at the Florida schools, so I want to see what Miami’s doing.”

“I’m thrilled with their coaching staff,” Rudolph also shared with Wagner on May 31. “I’m thrilled with their facilities, and I did visit in January. I don’t know how to answer what it takes for me to get there, but I guess we’ll see since I gave them the open layup.”
