Latest recruiting intel with 2024 4-star SG Elijah Moore

Elijah Moore is the No. 77 ranked player in the 2024 On3 Consensus. The 6-foot-3 wing from Bronx (NY) Cardinal Hayes has carved out his niche as a dead-eye shooter, playing alongside five-star guard Ian Jackson.

Elijah Moore has narrowed his list to five schools, Arkansas, Miami, Alabama, Oklahoma State, and Syracuse. He has taken two official visits; a November one to Oklahoma State and an October one to Syracuse.

So let’s start with the visits.

Moore’s last visit Moore took was to Oklahoma State. Cowboys head coach Mike Boynton is from New York, playing his prep ball at Brooklyn (NY) Bishop Laughlin. Assistant coach Terrence Rencher is also from the Bronx. That familiarity goes a long way with Moore.

Syracuse was Moore’s first high major offer. It is also a school he has visited twice, both officially and unofficially. There is also a play style fit with the Orange.

As of this writing, Syracuse is carrying momentum. The ‘family feel’ with the Oklahoma State staff made an impression, and if Alabama does make a move and get an official visit, that should be monitored.
