Elite 2024 recruit T.A. Cunningham picks up Tennessee State offer
HBCU Tennessee State has offered Roswell (Ga.) Johns Creek four-star defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham.
The Tigers are coached by former NFL star Eddie George.
The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Cunningham as the No. 8 overall prospect, No. 3 prospect in the state of Georgia and the No. 1 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle.
Buford (Ga.) four-star athlete KJ Bolden and Jefferson (Ga.) four-star linebacker Sammy Brown are the only player from Georgia ranked ahead of him in the On3 Consensus.

Big changes to updated Top 25
Cunningham recently visited Tennessee and told On3’s Jeremy Johnson that Josh Heupel‘s program has impressed him.
“Even in the first year that coach Heupel has been there, so much has changed,” Cunningham said. “You can just tell watching from this year and the one before. People were saying ‘oh, Tennessee won’t win five games’. Just seeing the change in the program is really cool to see happen.”
