Elite 2025 WR Quincy Porter commits to Ohio State

Elite 2025 wide receiver Quincy Porter of Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic announced his commitment to Ohio State Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 205 pounder chose the Buckeyes over Michigan, Penn State, Alabama, and others.
“The wide receiver play that they have at Ohio State,” Porter said when asked what stood out about the Buckeyes. “Ohio State is Wide Receiver U.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“I’m close with (Brian) Hartline,” Porter said. “I had great conversations with him, which ultimately made me commit.”
The New Jersey wideout joins coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes’ No. 1 2025 class. He is accompanied by five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord, five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez, and others.

Scouting Summary
On3’s Scouting and Rankings Team writes about him as a college recruit:
“Savvy receiver who excels as a ball-winner and in contested situations. Measured in at around 6-foot-2.5, 185 pounds with 32-inch arm prior to his junior season. The top targe and a very productive receiver for Bergen Catholic, one of the top high school programs in New Jersey. Has totaled double-digit touchdowns midway through his junior season. Has high-end ball skills that combine with his length to manifest in a large catch radius. Strong at the catch point and easily tracks the ball over his shoulder. Dangerous in the red zone as a jump ball target. Can work over the middle of the field. Fights for yards after the catch. Runs fairly well, but can continue improving his top-end speed and burst.”
