Elite 2025 WR Winston Watkins Jr. decommits from Texas A&M

Fort Myers (FL) IMG Academy four-star wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr. announced his decommitment from Texas A&M Friday morning. 

The 2025 receiver had been committed to the Aggies since December.

Watkins sent a statement to On3 regarding his decommitment:

First, I would like to especially thank Coach Jimbo Fisher, Coach Craig, and the Texas A&M coaching staff for being the first team to offer me.

I appreciate the love from the wonderful Texas A&M alumni!

After further discussions with my Dad, I have decided to decommit from Texas A&M and open up my recruitment!

Texas A&M will always be in my top choices.
