Elite 2026 4-star WR Jabari Mack already has his eye on top college football programs
Destrehan (La.) four-star wide receiver Jabari Mack already holds offers from nearly 20 schools. Since programs could begin directly contacting him on June 15, the 6-foot-0, 169-pound wideout has heard the most from Louisville, LSU, Mississippi State, Oregon and Texas.
Mack is also feeling good about Texas A&M, who hosted him for a camp in June. He is currently embracing his recruitment and is in no rush to announce his commitment.
“I want to wait as long as possible to make my decision because it’s an important process to find out where I want to be for four years,” Mack told On3. “I don’t want to commit and decommit from a school… I want to take my time and process everything.”
Texas A&M has Mack’s attention
It is still early in Mack’s process, but one of the programs to already make an impact on him is Texas A&M. He received his offer from head coach Mike Elko and his staff on May 24.
Mack feels like the Aggies have done a great job of connecting with him about life both inside and outside of football. The No. 5 player in Louisiana has been able to speak with Elko, as well as “a lot” with co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins.
“He’s a great coach and he develops great receivers,” said Mack, the No. 40 overall prospect and No. 5 wide receiver in the 2026 On300. “Everything he does makes sense to me and I understand why all the receivers that he has previously coached are great in the league.”
Mack is also interested in LSU and Oregon
Mack believes he is visiting LSU on July 26. He wants to see Oregon soon too. Both programs intrigue him and he proceeded to break down his interest in the Ducks and Tigers.
