Elite 2026 EDGE Jordan Carter commits to Texas A&M
Douglasville (Ga.) four-star junior EDGE Jordan Carter has committed to Texas A&M, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Carter’s commitment comes just over an hour after the Aggies landed his high school teammate — elite 2026 wide receiver Aaron Gregory.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Carter is the nation’s No. 35 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 EDGE and No. 4 recruit from Georgia in the class.

Carter and Gregory both joined A&M’s 2026 class the day after the Aggies took down LSU 38-23 with a huge second-half comeback. Mike Elko’s staff has now received six commitments in the 2026 cycle, good for a spot in the early top 10 of the team recruiting rankings.

“Man I’ve been here so many times and the way the coaches welcome me like family means the most,” Gregory told On3 earlier today. “Also the culture of the school is one of a kind and you will only find it one place. The brotherhood of the team, the always stick together through the good and bad.”
The Aggies secured their quarterback for this cycle just 10 days ago when they landed Corner Canyon (Utah) four-star quarterback Helaman Casuga. Four-star defensive lineman Trashawn Ruffin also committed in October, while Ryan Gilbert and Markel Ford pledged to Texas A&M in the summer.
