Ethan Feaster is already a household name in the Class of 2027, and this off-season the talented pass-catcher out of DeSoto (Texas) High School in Dallas is exploring some of his top college options a bit closer.

Feaster, a 6-foot-1 180-pound WR that just finished up his freshman season, was in Austin last month as a part of Texas’ star-studded junior day on The Forty Acres. The freshman sensation garnered the full attention of head coach Steve Sarkisian, area recruiter Jeff Banks and receivers coach Chris Jackson.

“Coach Sark always shows me love,” Feaster told On3.

“Coach Sark, Coach Jackson, Coach Banks — all three of them show me a great time every time I come down there,” he continued. “It’s a blessing, that’s all I can say. I love how they pass the ball, I love an offense that passes the ball and shares the ball around. Coach Banks tells me that wherever he goes they’re passing the ball.”

Banks has been one of the driving forces for the Longhorns and Feaster.

“Coach Banks is gonna keep it real with you and be honest with you. If he feels you’re that dude, he’s gonna treat you like that,” he said. “The same with Coach Sark — if he thinks you’re that dude, he’s gonna tell you that.”

Feaster will be in Athens this weekend getting his first look around Georgia’s campus.

David Hill and Bryan McClendon have provided Feaster with plenty to look forward to this weekend.

“It’s my first time so I’m excited,” Feaster said. “It’s gonna be my first time. It’s been good getting to talk to Coach Hill and Coach B-Mac, all those guys, and they’ve been telling me a lot.”

Feaster will return to LSU on March 3.

A native of The Boot, Feaster collected an offer from Cortez Hankton and Brian Kelly last June and has visited on a handful of occasions in the past.

“It’s always fun going back to Louisiana,” he said. “That’s my hometown, that’s it.”
