Elite EDGE Bryce Perry-Wright down to four schools with commitment date set

Buford (Ga.) four-star EDGE Bryce Perry-Wright is the latest blue-chip prospect to lock in a commitment date for early July.
The 6-foot-1.5, 250-pounder will help bring some fireworks by announcing his commitment on July 4, he tells On3’s Hayes Fawcett. The Peach State standout will choose between four schools.
Clemson, Miami, Texas and Texas A&M are the finalists for Perry-Wright. He is in the midst of his official visit schedule and will come to a decision soon after.
Perry-Wright is the No. 34 overall prospect and No. 5 EDGE in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 5 player in Georgia.
Clemson had Perry-Wright on campus for an official visit last weekend. He’ll head to Coral Gables for an OV at Miami this weekend. He’ll then spend the following two weekends in the Lone Star State, first at Texas on June 13, then at Texas A&M on June 20.
Auburn, the team that’s currently trending in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, had him in for an OV last month but did not make the cut on Thursday.

Perry-Wright recaps Clemson official visit
Dabo Swinney and the Tigers got to swing for Perry-Wright in person last weekend. He was a part of an important list of official visitors.
Perry-Wright had been to Death Valley before, but he got to spend some in-depth time around the ACC program this time around. He told On3’s Chad Simmons that the trip certainly moved the Tigers up his list of top schools.
“This visit helped a lot – it gave me a full picture of the culture, the brotherhood, and how I’d be developed on and off the field,” Perry-Wright said. “They made a strong impression. I spent time with coach Eason, coach Rumph – pretty much the whole staff, and of course, coach Swinney. Their message was clear; they believe in me, not just as an athlete but as a leader and a young man with a future beyond football.”
Scout’s Take on Bryce Perry-Wright
Perry-Wright was named a top performer by On3 at the Under Armour Next Series camp in Atlanta back in February. He dominated the camp and caught the eye of On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power:
“Bryce Perry-Wright made things look easy during offensive line-defensive line 1-on-1’s. The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder did what he wanted, winning reps on the outside and interior with little resistance. Perry-Wright is a few weeks removed from a strong showing against outgoing seniors at the Navy All-American Bowl and made easy work of the 2026 and 2027 prospects at Atlanta Under Armour. The Buford (Ga.) High standout showed impressive speed-to-power. He walked nearly every offensive lineman he faced deep into the backfield. Perry-Wright had a defined pass rush plan, stringing together moves and counters. The On300 prospect looks to be a very high-floor prospect. He took a ton of reps and left little doubt he was a top performer.”
