Elite EDGE Jayden Wayne names top 6 schools

Tacoma (Wash.) four-star EDGE Jayden Wayne has named Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan State and Oregon as his top six schools.

Wayne is the No. 30 overall recruit and No. 4 EDGE in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He has already gone on an official visit to Georgia and will take officials to Oregon, LSU and Miami next month.

He broke down why he each school made the list with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Alabama: “Coach Saban is the GOAT. Iron sharpens Iron. They compete for Nattys every year.”

Georgia: “Coach Smart is a great coach. It always family vibes. The brotherhood is strong. Iron sharpens Iron. They compete for Nattys every year.”

LSU: “Coach Kelly is a great coach and knows how to win. Iron sharpens Iron.”

Miami: “Coach Cristobal and me have a great relationship. They’re putting together something special there. The brotherhood is strong. I can learn from some NFL greats.

Michigan State: “Coach Tucker is a great coach. They compete at a high level. Coach BT is there and loves to develop.”

Oregon: “My family and I have a great relationship with Coach Lanning and Lupoi. They always have family vibes. There is alot of opportunity there.”
