Elite WR Jerome Myles moves up commitment date, names three finalists
Last month, West Jordan (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star wide receiver Jerome Myles announced that he had set a commitment date for Oct. 30. Those plans have changed.
On Wednesday, the stellar pass-catcher told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he will now announce his decision in one week on Sept. 18. He will choose between Texas A&M, USC and Utah.
The Trojans are trending for the former Ole Miss pledge, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong and USC insider Scott Schrader have each logged picks in favor of Lincoln Riley and Co. landing the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder. Myles took an official visit to Los Angeles last week.
“Myles is one of the Trojans top targets as they put the finishing touches on a strong 2025 class,” Wiltfong wrote earlier this week.
He is the No. 42 overall prospect and No. 8 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the top-ranked player in Utah.

Myles continues to break out as elite WR prospect
As a junior in six games, Myles averaged over 25 yards per catch, turning 19 receptions into nearly 500 yards and six touchdowns. He has 10.36 speed in the 100m dash and has gone 4.48 in the 40-yard dash.
He helped carry Corner Canyon to a massive upset win over Florida powerhouse IMG Academy last month, scoring three touchdowns and collecting 125 yards on five catches. The performance earned plenty of praise from On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power.
“Two games into his senior season, Myles looks like one of the most talented wide receivers in the cycle. He has a rare combination of size and burst to go with good ball skills,” Power wrote. “The On300 prospect is also a physical presence after the catch and is an outstanding blocker on the perimeter. Myles, who is a full year younger than most of his peers in the 2025 cycle, has seen rapid physical improvement over the course of the past year and looks primed for a big senior season at Corner Canyon.”
Myles missed part of last season due to injury and has missed the Chargers’ last two games due to a reported knee injury. His status for Corner Canyon’s game this Friday is currently unknown, but his college decision will now be known in due time.
