Four-Star C Emmanuel Stephen names top 5 schools

Glendale (Ariz.) Dream City Christian four-star center Emmanuel Stephen is down to five schools. Moving forward, the 7-foot, 215-pound senior will consider Arizona, Kansas, Miami, Michigan, and USC

The big man has scheduled two upcoming official visits – Arizona (9/28) and Kansas (10/6). 

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Stephen is the No. 93 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 11 center prospect and the No. 4 player in Arizona. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Arizona: “I like Arizona because Tommy Lloyd plays his bigs. I like the school culture and they take basketball seriously. Tommy Lloyd likes international players, and I’m an international since I’m from Nigeria.”

Kansas: “Kansas is a great team. I feel like if I go there, they’re going to help me big time with basketball. Bill Self is just him. He’s always breaking records. He’s a very great coach.”

USC: “I like USC. They play with bigs. The two Mobley’s went there. I feel like if I go there, it would be a good match for me.”

Michigan: “Juwan Howard has a lot of history in the NBA. He was a great player and he’s a good coach, a big’s coach. They had Hunter Dickinson last year, one of the best bigs in the country.”

Miami: “Coach Larrañaga is a great coach, great guy. I like Larrañaga a lot. Miami is a beautiful city and they have a great school.”
