Eric Dailey down to 8 schools, open to pro option

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star recruit Eric Dailey tells On3 he’s down to eight schools: Kansas, Memphis, Florida State, TCU, Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Michigan, and Texas A&M.

It should also be noted that Dailey mentioned that “pro options are still open”, but says if he chooses the college route, he will be playing for one of these eight programs.

Kentucky has not offered Dailey, but sources tell On3 that the Wildcats staff plan to go see him during this open recruiting period.

Dailey, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward, has not yet taken any official visits. He says he’s currently in the process of scheduling those trips. He ranks as the No. 51 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. The Florida native has had one of the more interesting recruitments we’ve seen, and Dailey has remained quite private on the matter, and only had this to say regarding his recruitment.

“Most coaches are saying they like my game and want to develop me to be that NBA guard and be prepared for the next level. More will come as I build relationships with these schools.”
