ESPN BPI releases Final Four prediction for March Madness

The ESPN College Basketball Power Index has released their Final Four prediction for March Madness. Evidently, the BPI has some interesting thoughts when it comes to the NCAA Tournament this season.

There’s a bevy of teams the BPI could go with as their Final Four, but the system narrowed down the percentages to one favorite for each conference. According to ESPN, the Final Four of the 2022 NCAA Tournament will be Gonzaga, Kansas, Kentucky and Houston.

Here’s who the ESPN BPI believes have the best chance of making the Final Four in each region.

West Region

1) No. 1 seed Gonzaga: 56.9% chance of reaching Final Four
2) No. 3 seed Texas Tech: 15.6% chance of reaching Final Four
3) No. 2 seed Duke: 14.9% chance of reaching Final Four

Midwest Region

1) No. 1 seed Kansas: 31.2% chance of reaching Final Four
2) No. 2 Auburn: 26.7% chance of reaching Final Four
3) No. 5 Iowa: 22.1% chance of reaching Final Four

East Region

1) No. 2 seed Kentucky: 30.2% chance of reaching Final Four
2) No. 1 seed Baylor: 27% chance of reaching Final Four
3) No. 3 seed Purdue: 17% chance of reaching Final Four

South Region

1) No. 5 seed Houston: 25.9% chance of reaching Final Four
2) No. 1 seed Arizona: 25.1% chance of reaching Final Four
3) No. 3 seed Tennessee: 23.6% chance of reaching Final Four
